It’s no secret that developers are always looking for ways to monetize. After all, even though it would be great to enjoy our passion for coding on the passion alone, that’s unfortunately not possible in this day and age, especially when every single one of us has mouths to feed.
With more monetization options comes more opportunity for developers to monetize, and global advertising firm Smaato has recently announced the availability of its SDK for XAML (or simply XML) apps for Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 8.1. Developers can take advantage of it using the recently launched Windows ad mediation for managing multiple in-app advertising SDKs.
Smaato provides a mobile RTB ad exchange and Supply Side Platform that can connect your apps with 199+ DSPs and 138+ ad networks. In addition to being easy to setup and integrate, the Smaato SDK provides developers the ability to include demographic data for precision targeting and leading to a greater return on investment and higher eCPM.
Included in the new Smaato ad SDK is support for full screen interstitials and improved ad size handling. App performance and monetization can be a challenge and this SDK provides access to a large variety of ad types, including rich media, enabling better monetization of traffic. Apps built with Silverlight for 8.1, may continue to use the Smaato Windows 8.0 SDK.
